Meet Lauren

Lauren Daniell is a psychologist with 15 years’ experience working with adults in the public mental health sector and private practice. She offers neuro-affirming and trauma-informed therapy, with a focus on safety, collaboration, and working at your pace. Lauren provides a supportive, non-judgemental space where adults can reflect, better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and make changes that feel manageable and meaningful.

How Lauren works / Areas of support

Lauren is a neuro-affirming psychologist who provides compassionate, evidence-based support for adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, and major life transitions, including fertility challenges, pregnancy, and parenthood. Her work is strengths-based and collaborative, supporting clients to explore their goals, build emotional resilience, and feel understood without pressure to change who they are. Lauren works from the view that neurodivergence is a difference, not a deficit.

Lauren draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Compassion Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and somatic-informed work. Therapy is tailored to each client, with flexibility around pace, structure, and focus.

Lauren also works with a broader range of concerns — see our full Areas of Support to learn more.

When she’s not with clients, Lauren can often be found starting her day with a walk or a gym class, volunteering at school, or baking delicious treats to share with family and friends. Life is also happily full with the everyday juggle of raising two teenagers and a primary schooler.

Our psychologists hold general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and are members of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), Australian Associaion of Psychologists Inc.
